Barrow Raiders and Jamie Pye have been unexpectedly reunited as the forward returns on loan just prior to Sunday’s game versus Batley Bulldogs.
As he started the season at the Raiders, he certainly won’t be met with any unfamiliar teammates or surroundings and has been sent out on loan to ensure further game time in a competitive environment., leaving the the Red Devils with an option to recall Pye any time after the first two weeks of the loan.
As a result of this latest loan, this will now be Pye’s third seperate stint at the Championship club, previously having scored one try in fourteen appearances.

Barrows director of rugby Andy Gaffney states, creating a positive atmosphere surrounding the return of the 22 year old Englishman and the work in which went on behind the scenes to allow for it to come into fruition.
“At a time where we have some injuries to key forwards, Jamie’s return is a real boost” is yet another optimistic quote from Gaffney, who clearly hopes that Jamie’s rearrival will create a spark of fitness amongst an otherwise injury ridden season.
